It might be that your claim isn't quite right the first time and either the approver or finance will mark it for rework. If this is the case you'll be sent a link but also see the claim on the dashboard.
Click the pen and paper icon on the right hand side and you can then edit the claim.
If you need to delete an item, you can do this by ticking the box in the Del. column and pressing update.
Once you have made the updates, press the Submit button again. The claim will return to the approver and then, if they approve, proceed to finance.
