Church Champions log into the same system as everyone else. Their view is largely the same as a volunteers but has an extra menu item for viewing volunteers:
From this Church Champion Digest option they'll be able to view volunteer activity linked to their church during a specified time period.
In this example you can see that there has been no activity in the last 7 days.
However if we change the date range to the last 90 days, you can see that there are some statistics showing.
The church champion can then look through each category listed. In the example below, the church champion can see that there are two volunteers who have been introduced for 10 weeks, and 2 volunteers who are approaching their approval anniversaries.
One key difference for church champions is that, in order to see the volunteer's contact details, and in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the volunteer must have opted-in to sharing their information. Until they do that, the church champion will see the following message when they click on the name of the volunteer:
The information missing for the church champion is DOB, telephone contacts, email contacts and address.
The other section that a champion can see is the support the volunteer has provided. This is anonymised so that the only visible information is the family ID. Champions cannot access the information for any families, they only see the ID number listed to show the support a volunteer has provided.
