In order to make a volunteer a Church Champion, they must first be set up in the system with the volunteer role.
From their volunteer record, select the Church Champion page:
Here you can set up a relationship between a volunteer and a church. You can create as many volunteer - church pairings as you like so that one volunteer can be the Church Champion for multiple churches. You can also have many volunteers as champion of the same church. The volunteers don't have to be champion of their own church.
If the volunteers in the current family are not yet champions, then you'll see a blank entry:
To set up a volunteer as a champion, select the appropriate volunteer and church from the drop downs and click "Add Church Champion".
The page will reload and you'll see the pairing created. A note will also be added to the volunteer record to record the change.
With this default pairing and no additional roles ticked, the volunteer will see the church champion menu when they log in and be able to view the system as church champion. Click here to see what that gives them.
