As part of our commitment to staff wellbeing, Safe Families provide an Employee Assistance Programme through YuLife.
The service is also available to your spouse/siblings/parents and dependent children over the age of 18. They would just need to quote the policy number which is in the app.
The Wellbeing Hub through YuLife gives you access to YuMatter (EAP) and YuDoctor - you can access both through the YuLife App (see video below).
YuMatter is an employee assistance programme and includes emotional support including counselling. You are entilted to an initial assessment consultation and then up to 4 follow up sessions via phone or video (these are 30 minutes each). The emotional wellbeing service is open 24/7 and the counselling is available 9-5pm Monday-Friday.

Accessing YuMatter online
Please follow this video to access Your Halo through the YuLife App
Once you have registered for an account:
1. Select the type of appointment you want to make (phone or video)
2. Choose a date from the calendar
3. Complete the details and select 'submit'
4. You will be sent an email with all the information you need for your virtual appointment
