Requesting
As part of the online annual review, your line manager will be asked to select the names of up to 6 people to provide peer feedback.
There is also the option for requesting up to 2 sets of external feedback.
The people named and selected will receive an emailed link to the feedback form and also be told the deadline for feedback.
They will be asked two questions and will answer them online:
- What do you think my strengths are?
- Where can I develop or improve?
Given emails can land in junk, clutter, etc, it would be worth a verbal reminder to the people that you've requested their feedback as well.
Giving
If asked to provide peer feedback, you will be sent a link to a form that looks as follows. The person you are providing feedback on will be named. There is no option to save as draft and return to the form (although you can submit as many times as you like) so it might be worth preparing your feedback in advance.
Once finished, press 'Send Response' and an email will notify the subject of the feedback that you have completed your step. They can then view the feedback within the staff database.
Receiving
Once feedback is submitted you will receive an email informing you. The feedback will also be available to read through the dashboard of the staff database and through a link within the review form itself.
The reviewer will also be able to read the feedback.
In the annual review you will be asked to reflect on the peer feedback received with a link to open the feedback in another tab.
