Slack has added a new feature called Slack Clips.
You can use it to send video in messages, both to individuals or channels. You can share your screen and you also get as many takes as you like.
To start a new clip, click the video icon in the new message.
You can choose to use the camera or share a screen. You can also switch between the two mid record if you want an intro-share-outro type clip.
Once you're ready press the Record button. You'll get a 3-second countdown.
Press Stop to end the recording. You can then Try Again or click Next. Clicking Next will attach the clip to your message, which you can then complete and send/schedule as normal.
