We offer staff 8 weeks full pay followed by 5 weeks half pay over a 12-month rolling period. At the end of which the staff member is entitled to Statutory Sick Pay.
The database will send reminders for People and Culture to send a letter to employee at the following points:
- Week 6 – to inform employee of half pay from week 8
- Week 8 – to inform employee how any further sickness is half pay, five additional weeks
- Week 12- to inform employee of one more week of half pay
- Week 13 – to inform employee that they are now on Statutory Sick Pay (SSP)
- Week 25 – to inform employee SSP stops at 28 weeks
- Week 28 – to inform employee SSP stopped
