Each Family Friend volunteer within the household will have their own Befriending Preferences.
Select Preferences from the left-hand menu.
Scroll down to the Befriending Preferences section.
Select if the volunteer is able/willing to support Adults only, Children only or Either.
Select if the volunteer can provide support on Weekdays only, Weekends only or Either.
Specify if the volunteer id able/willing to drive.
Set if the volunteer is willing to receive emergency requests (where support is required within the next 48 hours).
Select Update [volunteer] Preferences to save any changes.
The Befriending Preferences available to a volunteer correspond to the additional search options available when creating a new Family Friend assignment.
i.e. volunteers who are listed as not able to drive will not be returned against a Family Friend assignment where a driver has been requested.
These options allow us to send more targets support requests to volunteers.
