The database will allow volunteers to update their vaccination status from their dashboard, recording whether our volunteers have received a COVID vaccination, how many doses and whether they were put forward by Safe Families.
Although all the scenarios in which this information will be useful are as yet unclear, it feels important to have the ability to record this significant step in our ability to manage the impact of the virus going forward. Please see Slack for the guidance on how this information may be used.
How do volunteers record it?
For the volunteer, when logging in they will see the following panel on their dashboard. They can select dates for the two doses and whether they were put forward by Safe Families or not.
Each time they update the details, a note will be added to their record. You can see they also have the ability to indicate that they do not want to tell us and we will no longer ask them.
For staff to record a volunteer's vaccination status:
This can be done via the Covid-19 Details page on the left hand menu of the volunteer profile.
Any update to the volunteer's vaccination details must only be done with their express permission and must be accompanied by a note recording how and when consent was given.
