Building Belonging with Supporters (SOP2)

Safe Families are committed to ensuring that volunteers have the best experience possible. Volunteers should feel loved, supported and valued for their contribution and ideas at every stage of their journey with Safe Families. All Safe Families staff must model our values to the volunteers so that they, in turn, can model belonging, love, care and support to families. We must cultivate and model belonging with our volunteers within individual relationships, regional teams, church communities, and the wider community. Belonging is always facilitated by relationships. These standards will enable us to build a foundation of belonging through the way we interact with volunteers throughout their journey with Safe Families.
