As we have now passed the ten year mark as an organisation, some of our staff members have also passed that milestone in their time with us. We want to mark this incredible achievement and thank those staff therefore, we have now updated our policies to state that anyone who reaches the ten year milestone will now receive an additional two weeks of leave in their 11th year once their 10th year is completed. This must be taken in a block of two weeks and can be added on to a normal block of two week's leave allowing that staff member to take a four week break. To those who have completed ten years with us we want to say a huge thank you!!
The highlight of this month has to have been Staff Conference! It was soo good to see so many of us together face to face for some valuable connection. It was also great to hear the values being unveiled and explained and being able to look at how these can be lived out in different roles around the organisation. If you were there, please be sure to complete the feedback form as soon as you can and if you couldn't make it (or would like a refresher) do take a look at the recordings from the main sessions. More details about both of these things can be found here. Kat has also shared some incredibly helpful and clear documents which unpack our vision, mission and values in more detail. Take a look at those here.
Staff Survey
We want to thank you all for you help in completing the last staff survey. It gave us some very interesting insights and helps us to think about who we are as an organisation. In order to make sure that we hear your voice, we will be sending out these surveys regularly. The next one will be shared on 2nd June and close on 16th of June so please do block out 30 minutes in your diary to complete it. The more people that complete it, the more accurate the results we get.
We are now approaching that time of year where we want to take some time to reflect on what has been and what is to come. Annual reviews will be starting very soon and we have shared some information about all the things you need to know if order to be able to prepare well for them.
Fundraising updates
There have been some fantastic updates around fundraising recently including this encouraging update about some things that have been happening from March to May. June also sees the launch of the Big Give. We are really excited about this campaign and there are a number of ways that you can get involved. Take a look at the details here.
As you will have noticed, over the past few months our fantastic Systems Team have been working on organising and combining our SharePoint sites. In the last couple of weeks, there have been a number of changes to SharePoint which may have meant some things have moved around.
