Periodically whilst a case is open, we will review the circumstances of the family and the progress of the support being provided.
The Case Summary field is a means of recording an overview of the outcome of the latest review.
Most referrals will reviewed formally as part of the Planning & Review process; Initial, Formal and Closure reviews, will automatically update the Case Summary field.
The Case Summary can also be updated outside of the formal review process by selecting Edit Summary and updating the Case Summary accordingly.
Select Save Summary to save the updated Case Summary.
The Case Summary is displayed near the top of the referral screen so that any staff or case managers viewing the family record can quickly understand and access the status of the referrals and how support is developing.
