If an initial contact needs to progress to matching and linking with a volunteer for ongoing connection and support then the family would be added to the database through the normal referral method at https://refer.safefamilies.uk
Once in the database, the referral can be assigned to an agency as normal but selecting one of the specific 'Covid-19 Support Referrals' agencies. This will discount it from the standard Local Authority contracts. You'll find these agencies in the usual drop down.
Then, to connect the referral to the initial contact you would open the initial contact, and select the Status of 'Refer for Regular Support' and select the associated referral from the corresponding list. Then press Update Contact.
Time to Connect contacts are generated through https://helpme.safefamilies.uk and are currently set up for the following Local Authorities:
