The 1 to 1 initial support agreement should be completed with a new staff member within their first two weeks of employment and uploaded to the staff database. It should be reviewed each year as part of the annual review process, and can also be used as there is a change in management / role.
There are two pro-formas of the initial support agreement:
1. New staff members (or new role)
2. Review / Change of line management
The purpose of this document is to:
- establish any additional support the staff member may need within their time working at Safe Families
- Outline how 1 to 1’s operate within Safe Families and agree practicalities including frequency of 1 to 1’s and whether the team member will complete any part of the form in advance
- Ensure the team member is aware of their responsibilities and that of you as their manager
- Within the New Staff Member document there is a section discuss the induction plan and to set priorities until the end of probation period.
Once completed the Initial 1 to 1 Support Agreement should be uploaded to the staff database. Document type '1 to 1 Initial Support Agreement' - the staff member will then automatically be asked to accept the document via the staff database.
