You can attach a file directly to a note without having to upload it through the documents page.
This is ideal for such cases where you want to reference it in the note but freeing you from having to do the two steps. And you can also mark the document so that it doesn't appear in the documents list at all.
The document space appears just below the body of the note...
Click on the folder icon to select a file from your computer and select the document type.
All attached documents will upload as private, not available to volunteers, by default. If you select the No attachment/Don't show in documents option from the Document Type then the document won't appear in Family Documents for staff either.
All other features of the note (Privacy, Tagging Volunteers, Safeguarding) will work as normal. Any attached document won't be attached to the volunteer note at the moment.
On the Family Notes and Referral Notes, the document appears below the note and above any responses. Click the link to access the note.
If you subsequently delete the document on the Family Documents page, it will also be inaccessible from the notes page(s).
