A well-being check-in is simply a conversation to talk through how a staff member is feeling, how we can support them and to help them think through any other changes (inside or outside of work) that might support their well-being.
If a member of staff requests a 'well being check-in' via the staff database their line manager receives an email. Their line manager should then arrange a check-in conversation with the staff member as soon as possible. A well being plan can then be completed (guidance attached). This is to aid the conversation, providing a framework for discussion.
Remember that all staff members have access to YuLife, through which they can access 4 sessions of counselling or specific advice and support. More information can be found here
