A wellbeing check-in is simply a conversation to talk through how a staff member is feeling, how we can support them and to help them think through any other changes (inside or outside of work) that might support their wellbeing.
If a member of staff requests a 'wellbeing check-in' via the staff database their line manager receives an email. Their line manager should then arrange a check-in conversation with the staff member as soon as possible. A wellbeing plan can then be completed (guidance attached). This is to aid the conversation, providing a framework for discussion.
Remember that all staff members have access to YuLife, through which they can access four sessions of counselling or specific advice and support. More information can be found here
