Hello team,
We hope that June has been good to you! Here are a few things for you to know and highlight to those you manage...
Training and courses assessment
Please do encourage your team to have a read/ watch of this post and help our training and courses team out with some essential research and feedback. The more answers they get, the better they will be able to plan for the next steps.
Organisational culture - discussion groups
You may have seen this post from Anna earlier in the month. We do want to get as much input from staff across the organisation as we can so again, please sign up and encourage your team to join one of these discussion groups or chat to us in People and Culture. And remember to come along yourself!
Working location and mileage
Hopefully, by now you have begun discussions with those you manage around how any changes may affect them in terms of working location and mileage. If you are unsure what has been proposed for someone that you manage, please do speak to your 'Head of' who should have a proposed list regarding any changes. If things do crop up that you would like some more information about, please reach out to us; we are aware that some of these conversations are hard to navigate and want to support you in any way we can.
If there are changes to be made to contracts, and have been agreed with team members, please complete a People Change Request Form so that we can make sure the person receives a letter to reflect the changes. If you are unsure of how to do that please read this article.
Annual Reviews and Leadership Development Programme
Last month we shared some information around annual reviews and therefore you may have already started to think about dates to complete these and feedback that can be given for those you manage. If you haven't, now is a great time to start. For more information of how to get going and what annual reviews look like this time, refer to this article.
One thing we wanted to highlight to you when talking through development with staff is the Leadership Development Programme. We have created a Leadership Development Programme to prepare emerging leaders for future leadership roles. This is an internal offering delivered through a blend of mentoring, peer learning, and practical project leadership. We will have more information about this soon but do keep this on your radar as something that is available for staff when completing their annual review.
As always, if you need any help at all please do chat to one of us in People and Culture, you can contact us here. Thanks!
