Safe and efficient recruitment and approval of volunteers is instrumental to building belonging, it helps us ensure safeguarding, due diligence, and it allows us to honour the skills and life experiences of all volunteers. The following standards recognise that recruitment and approval of volunteers is a collective process that includes Safe Families staff, church/community leaders and the volunteer.
